What is Behavioural Data Science (BDS)?
BDS is a new upcoming interdisciplinary field which combines knowledge from Psychology, Statistics and Data science techniques needed to understand human behaviour. For instance, understanding consumer buying behaviour using data modelling techniques such as deep learning.
One of the few universities in the world which offers BDS as their master program is the University of Amsterdam. The program not only incorporates technical data skills needed to be a successful Behavioral Scientist, but also, offers a platform to gain practical experience such as analyzing real world data for companies.
